Netflix Gears Up for 30th SAG Awards with Star-Studded Nominations Reveal

LOS ANGELES, Jan 10 (ZIZ): The highly anticipated nominations for the 30th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards were announced today, recognizing exceptional individual, ensemble, and cast performances in both film and television over the past year. Issa Rae and Kumail Nanjiani revealed the nominees via Instagram Live, while SAG-AFTRA President Fran Drescher, alongside committee members Jason George and Woody Schultz, unveiled outstanding action performance nods for film and television stunt ensembles.

Scheduled for February 24, 2024, at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT, the ceremony will exclusively stream globally on Netflix, presented by Silent House Productions in collaboration with SAG-AFTRA. The Shrine Auditorium & Expo Hall is set to host this prestigious event.

Barbra Streisand, an iconic figure in the entertainment industry, will be honored with the esteemed SAG Life Achievement Award during the ceremony, recognizing her remarkable career achievements and humanitarian contributions.

This event stands as a hallmark in the awards season, celebrating outstanding performances in both motion pictures and television between January 1, 2023, and December 31, 2023. The SAG Awards distinguish themselves as winners are selected solely by the votes of their peers within SAG-AFTRA, comprising a substantial voting body of 119,515 members. The final voting window opens on January 17 and concludes at Noon PT on February 23.
