The film delves into the life of Kelley Lee Gilmore, a remarkable 60-year-old mother, wife, Ph.D. doctor, university professor, and devoted hockey player based in Vancouver. With a passion for hockey that transcends mere hobby, Kelley sets her sights on competing at the national level for Team BC Wolfpack in the upcoming Canada 55+ Games in Kamloops.

Director Jenny Lee-Gilmore expertly chronicles Kelley’s journey, exploring the multifaceted experience of being a Chinese-Canadian woman in the realm of hockey. The documentary not only portrays Kelley’s sporting ambitions but also reflects on the profound impact of the sport on their familial bond.
